    The Texans are reminding me of Philly's "Dream Team" back in 2011. Teams that win the offseason rarely win the regular one.

    As part of the Buffalo-Houston trade, the Texans wiped out the final three years on Diggs’ contract, giving him the ability to become a free agent after this season, league sources tell ESPN. The Texans also took the $3.5 million guaranteed to Diggs next season and moved up into this season, giving him a raise and assuring him of $22.52 million in guaranteed money in 2024


    So Houston has the "headache" for a year then they can decide what to do.

    Most of the time, those teams don't turn into the 2011 Eagles, which is why you can remember the 2011 Eagles. You're right that you have to do it on the field, but the off-season is for talent acquisition, and the most talented teams generally last the longest.

    I hadn't realized Michael Thomas was dropped by the Saints last month. I guess his injuries destroyed him.
