Returning starters: Three.

Outlook: Warriors have been known for great guards in recent seasons, and this is not an exception. Doron Lamb returns with a physical all-around game along with Pe’Shon Howard, another returnee.

One new guard who will see plenty of playing time is ultra-quick Juwan Staten from Dayton, Ohio. Underneath, Walbrook (Baltimore) transfer F Roscoe Smith at 6-8 gives some size to go with 6-10 C Baye Moussa Keita, a Syracuse signee.

Schools are ranked based on a team’s strength of schedule and quality of players.

First regular-season rankings run Dec. 8.
